Dear Colleagues

The Pan Arab Continence Society (PACS) is a specialized society that has been founded in 2004 to promote the educational and awareness programs of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction for both the physicians and the patients.

The PACS will be working in accordance to the International Continence Society (ICS) guidelines and will be in continuous contact with the ICS to extend the service to the Middle East region and the Arab countries.

The PACS meeting will be held annually to keep his members updated with all the recent work concerning the field of incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction. The 1st meeting took place in Cairo (Egypt), on December 2004, the second meeting was held in Dubai in December 2005. The 3rd meeting took place in Manama, Bahrain on November 2006. The 4th meeting was held in Doha,Qatar, from  6th to  8th of December 2007.

The 3rd meeting has moved from Beirut  to Manama due to the unstable political situation in Beirut, but we promise to go to Beirut in the near future.

The 5th meeting will be held in Jordan on December 2008, fortunately,  many of the famous international speakers will join this  meeting  and many interesting topics will be discussed during the sessions.

I hope you all benefit of this dedicated society and you are all welcomed to join as members during the next meeting.

Prof. Dr. M. Sherif  Mourad
  President of the PACS
